The VA Student Team is made up of representatives from each grade. Members meet every two to three weeks for a lunch meeting with the VA Parent Coordinator on the Cal State LA campus to discuss various ways they can support the VA Department activities and to work on specific projects to strengthen their art community.
Students who join must be willing and able to commit to being at the meetings and participate actively in the discussions by sharing their ideas, have time to work on special projects in addition to their academic and art classes, and serve as leaders in the community. The opportunity to participate on the VA Student Team is a unique and fun one for students who are willing to get involved in it.
